EXTERNAL RELATIONS AND THE E.U. COORDINATION CENTRE
"In order to comply with the demands required by the E.U. for full accession new legislative improvements must be implemented to prepare Turkey for the full membership of the E.U. Turkey will need to conform to standard E.U. practices common-place throughout the Union, therefore further preparation in plans and programs and the harmonization through collective cooperation together with internal coordination will be carried out by public sector institutions and organizations. The process has already begun in Istanbul to contribute to this conformity. A leading organization in this will be a body established by the Istanbul Governor’s Office called External Relations and EU Coordination Center." |
